Notification Options

Everytime you add a new assignment from your home page, you can set the notification options. Just click "Show notification options" near the bottom of the new assignment form (see Adding Assignments).

You can choose how many days before the due date to get notified, and what time of that day.

Select how many days before the due date you want to be notified by choosing a selection from the first drop-down menu.

Your options for the time of day are: morning (around 9 AM), noon (around 12 PM), afternoon (around 3 PM), and evening (around 7 PM). These times are based on the time zone you have set.

 

Receiving via Email

To receive a notification via email, check the box next to "Receive an email notification."

That's it! Based on when you told it to notify you, you'll get an email with the assignment and when it's due.

 

Receiving via SMS

To receive a notification via SMS (text messaging), check the box next to "Receive a text message notification" (note: you must have your phone number verified [see Your Profile] to have this option enabled).
